Daniel is an Associate Certified Entomologist who spends a good portion of his free time with his wife, Yvonne, visiting the wild unspoiled areas of our beautiful state in search of interesting biota to photograph. Although Daniel’s main expertise is in urban entomology, he has a keen interest in insects, spiders and other critters found in the wild places of Florida. When not chasing spiders and insects, Daniel searches for herpetofauna (reptiles and amphibians, especially snakes) to photograph.
Daniel is the Webmaster of two very popular educational websites www.floridabackyardsnakes.com and www.floridabackyardspiders.com and plans to add more to the backyard series in time. You can also view his photography at https://www.flickr.com/photos/44988140@N03/ and http://www.pbase.com/dydmd
