Average size: 20-26 inches; Record 39.25 inches. Young are 7-9 inches at birth.
Range: Bluestripe Garters are found in West Florida along the Nature Coast region from Wakulla County through Hernando County.
Diet: Frogs, toads, lizards, fish, salamanders and earthworms.
Status: Fairly common throughout their range.
