Range: Throughout Florida
Cemophora coccinea copei and Cemophora coccinea coccinea
Diet: Small snakes, lizards(including their eggs)and frogs.
Status: Uncommon. Very secretive, hides under bark, logs, etc. Seen mainly at night or after heavy rains. Can be found in woodland habitats with sandy soils.
